Oftentimes these days, it is difficult to find a qualified local watch and clock repair person. In order to alleviate this shortage Kevin is pleased to service your watch or clock and have it sent to you if you are willing to pay for the cost of the repair and the shipping. On average, please allow 6 to 8 weeks from the time the item is received for return delivery.

On that note, here are the regular wait times for most repair jobs: Watch batteries are done on the spot in most cases unless the customer wishes to return later to pick up the watch. Bracelet sizings are also done on the spot except in the same cases as the former. Round flat crystals (watch glass) are done usually within 1 to 5 days. Domed, Magnified, Square or any other type and/or shape are special order items and can take 1 to 2 weeks depending on when we place our weekly orders. Most stems and crowns can be done within a week, but some which need to be ordered can take a bit longer. Watch straps can be purshased at the shop and if there is not one in stock which suits the customer's and his or her watch one can be ordered from a catalogue and is usually received within 3 to 10 days.

All clock overhauls have a minimum wait period of 6 to 8 weeks. Some, unfortunately, can take longer. Kevin is working harder at reducing the wait time for clocks by working extra hours in the evenings and by ensuring that if parts are required for a particular job that it is promptly completed when the parts arrive. 

Lastly, most watch overhauls can be completed within 1 to 3 weeks. In some cases, however, when a movement or a part needs to be ordered from my supplier and they do not have the part, these parts can take several weeks to arrive since they usually come from Germany and Switzerland. Also the supplier only places orders for particular parts at certain times which can prolong the waiting period.

Although Kevin is trying harder than ever to adhere to these wait times, in some rare circumstances, regretably, the wait times can be longer. Be that as it may, Kevin is ever striving to maintain and improve on these wait times in order to better serve his customers.
